Little ghost and pumpkin crochet pattern

Scheepjes Softfun Yarn

Fibre content: 60% cotton, 40% acrylic

Yarn weight: DK

Length: 140 meter

Ball weight: 50 gram

Colour: white for the ghost and 

Yellow/orange for the pumpkin

You will also need

2,5 - 3 MM HOOK, DEPENDING ON HOW TIGHT YOU CROCHET

2 PAIRS OF SAFETY EYES (I USED 9 MM FOR THE GHOST AND 12 MM FOR THE PUMPKIN)

POLYESTER FIBERFILL FOR STUFFING TAPESTRY NEEDLE

We will now turn the pumpkin inside out. Insert safety eyes with two felt circles approximately between 

rounds 23-24. Stuff firmly.

We will now continue making the little ghost. Change to white color. We will work next round in the 

front loops only.

Round 33: FLO [1 sc, 1 inc] x 12 {36}

We're going to make two holes for the ghost's arms in the next round.

Round 34: 8 chain, (skip 8), 10 sc, 8 chain, (skip 8), 10 sc {36}

Round 35: 8 sc along the chain, 10 sc, 8 sc along the other chain, 10 Sc {36}

Continue crocheting the little ghost.

Insert safety eyes approximately between rounds 45-46. Make sure they're centered to the ghost's future arms.

Stuff firmly before closing. Fasten off and weave in the ends.

ARMS

Turn the toy upside down and find the opening for the arm. Attach white yarn in the FLO of the first 

available stitch on the lower right corner.

Round 1: sc 8 along the bottom, turn the pumpkin once again and sc 8 along the other side {16}

Continue working sc in every stitch.

Rounds 2-9: sc around {16} 

Round 10: 8 dec

Do not stuff. Fasten off and weave in the ends. Make the second arm the same way.

It's time to shape our pumpkin. We will need a tapestry needle for this. Make a few indents around the 

pumpkin, running the needle through the stitches.

Embroider eyebrows and mouth and make a few hairs with black thin yarn.
