BEAK + HEAD + BODY
Stuff as you go.
1 rnd: with the yellow thread: 5 sc in MR (5);
2 rnd: 5 sc (5);
3 rnd: (sc, inc) * 2, sc (7);
4 rnd: with the white thread: 3 sc, inc, 3 sc (8);
5 rnd: (1 sc, inc) * 4 (12);
6 rnd: 4 sc, 4 inc, 4 sc (16);
7-9 rnds: 16 sc (3 rnds - across 16);
10 rnd: (2 sc, dec) * 4 (12);
11 rnd: (2 sc, dec) * 3 (9);
12 rnd: 1 sc, dec, 2 sc, dec, 2 sc (7);
13-17 rnds: 7 sc (5 rnds - across 7);
18 rnd: (2 sc, inc) * 2, sc (9);
19 rnd: (2 sc, inc) * 3 (12);
20 rnd: 12 sc (12);

Prepare the wire to strengthen the neck of the goose.
28 rnd: 12 sc (12);
29 rnd: (2 sc, dec) * 3 (9);
30 rnd: (1 sc, dec) * 3 (6).
Pull the opening closed. Cut the thread
and fasten off. Weave in thread ends inside of the piece.
WINGS
Crochet with the white thread 2 identical details: Do not stuff!
1 rnd: 5 sc in MR(5);
2 rnd: (1 sc, inc) * 2, sc (7);
3 rnd: (2 sc, inc) * 2, sc (9);
4 rnd: (2 sc, inc) * 3 (12);
5-7 rnds: 12 sc (3 rnds - across 12);
8 rnd: (2 sc, dec) * 3 (9);
9 rnd: (1 sc, dec) * 3 (6);
10 rnd: fold the piece in half and work 3 sc through both edges.
Fasten off and cut yarn leave a long tail for sewing.
LEGS
Do not stuff.
1 rnd: with the yellow thread. Chain 6. Work across the sides of the chain, from the 2nd stitch: 4 sc, 3 sc in the last stitch.
Across the other side of chain - 3 sc, inc (12);
2-3 rnds: 12 sc (2 rnds - across 12);
4 rnd: (2 sc, dec) * 3 (9);
5 rnd: 9 sc (9);
6 rnd: (sc, dec) * 3 (6);
7-8 rnds: 6 sc (2 rnds - across 6);
9 rnd: with the white thread - 6 sc (6);
10-11 rnds: 6 sc (2 rnds - across 6);
12 rnd: fold the piece in half and work 3 sc through both edges. Fasten off and cut yarn leaving a tail for sewing.
ASSEMBLY AND DECORATION
1) Sew on the wings to the 23th round of the body.
2) Sew on the legs between rounds 24-26 of the body.
3) Embroider eyes between rounds 6 and 7 of the head.
