Head and body

All steps are done in the round.

1. MR 6 (6 sts)

2. inc x 6 (12 sts)

3. (sc, inc) x 6 (18 sts)

4. (sc, inc, sc) x 6 (24 sts) 

5. (3 sc, inc) x 6 (30 sts)

6. (2 sc, inc, 2 sc) x 6 (36 sts)

7-21. sc 36 (36 sts for 15 rnds)

22. BLO (2 sc, dec, 2 sc) x 6 (30 sts)

If using safety eyes, attach them between rnds 12 and 13, about 5 sts apart. Start stuffing.

23. (3 sc, dec) x 6 (24 sts)

24. (sc, dec, sc) x 6 (18 sts)

25. (sc, dec) x 6 (12 sts) Finish stuffing.

26. dec x 6 (6 sts)

Finish off and sew closed.

Frills

Turn ghost upside down.

In the front loops of round 22 in the body, insert your hook and pull up a ch.

Hans

All steps are done in the round.

1. MR 6 (6 sts)

2-4. sc 6 (6 sts for 3 rounds)

Lightly stuff. Finish off and leave a tail for sewing.

Make two.

Heart

All steps are done in the round. This is worked from the top of the heart down. Make two, but only finish off the first part. Leave a tail for sewing the gap closed. The two pieces will be joined together. Stuff lightly as you go.

Finish off the first part. For the second part, continue on by joining to the first part with 1 sc.

3. sc 5 in the first part, continue around to the second part and sc 6 (12 sc)

Sew the gap if necessary.

Finish off and sew closed.

Assembly

Sew arms to rnds 15-18, about 7 sts apart.

Sew heart to hands.

If embroidering face, sew eyes on rnds 12-13, about 2-3 sts apart.

Optional: embroider a mouth on rnds 14-15.
